ALKIRE George S. 14 Jul 1851 18 Jul 1915  *Mr. Alkire was a placer miner, homesteaded on Wet Gulch below Lucile. He set out a small orchard and raised cattle and mined, later buying a ranch on John Day Creek, living there the remainder of his life. He married Anna Belle Culley, they had 4 child

EASTMAN Isaac W. 1885 1918   *Ike born 12 Apr 1885 died 1 Jun 1948 in Ellensburg WA. *Lived up John Day Creek, also worked in the mines in Norden, Idaho. .
