Rumor has it that John King was married quite recently in Nebraska and that he will return to the west with his bride shortly and engage in the agricultural implement business in connection with L. Stannus of Lewiston.

Idaho County Free Press - Friday, May 11, 1888

At the residence of Hon. W.E. Martin, Winfield, Kansas, on Sunday April 22, 1888.  Miss Anna E. Young of Winfield, Kansas and John N. King of Idaho County, Idaho, Rev. Irwin officiating.  A note from the groom to the editor says that the ceremony was performed at 4:30 p.m. and at 5 o'clock they boarded a Pullman for the great northwest.  The happy couple are now in Lewiston, where Mr. King will probably embark in business.  On behalf of John's many warm friends in Idaho county, we venture to express the hope that his domestic cup may be filled to the brim with the nectar of unalloyed bliss, and that the goddess of good luck may smile forever upon his business adventures.
