At the residence of Charles B. Wood in Grangeville I.T. January 2, 1888 by Rev. W.A. Hall. John Wilson to Mary C. Benedict. A few friends of the happy couple assembled at the residence of C. B. Wood, on Monday afternoon, to witness the ceremony which united in the bonds of wedlock a favorite daughter of Idaho County, to the partner of her choice. Miss Benedict was long regarded as the belle of the Salmon River settlements and has a host of friends in this county who wish her "goodspeed" in her new life. The young couple will leave in a few days for their future home on the Little Salmon, where we trust, a long life of peace, happiness and prosperity awaits them. |
