Alienation Suit Is Filed – Grangeville Man Wants $25,000 From Wealthy Rancher

Grangeville, Idaho, Feb. 27 (Special) – A suit was filed in the District Court here Friday by George M. Gilbert, against David Yates, a wealthy rancher residing north of town, asking for damages to the amount of $25,000 for the alienation of his wife’s affections.

The Gilberts had been married for several years and had exhibited no unusual amount of domestic uncongeniality until the appearance of Mr. Yates last Summer, when she deserted him.  James Ailshie and Wallace Scales are Mr. Gilbert’s attorneys.
