NEW MEADOWS MATRON PASSES

Mrs. J.H. Abshire, mother of Mrs. W.D. Stearns of this city, passed away, Monday morning at her home at New Meadows, following a brief illness.  Others surviving are her husband and one son, Bolan Abshire, both of New Meadows.

Mr. and Mrs. W.D. Stearns left Sunday evening, being called by her serious condition, and how will remain until after the funeral which will be held the latter part of the week.
