BORN AT PLEASANT VALLEY, DIED STITES

Mrs. Sarah Ella Baldwin, 63, who passed away at her home in Stites Friday evening, August 13, was buried Monday August 16, at 2 p.m. from Trenary's Chapel, Kooskia. The Rev. J. F. Rice conducted the services and interment was in the Tahoe cemetery. Pallbearers were Frank Ruark, Ray Gilroy, Guy Cleveland, Corwin Pell, Jess Steiner and Bert Baker.
Mrs. Baldwin was born July 15, 1885 at Pleasant Valley and was married to Alfred Baldwin in September 1902. They made their home at Clearcreek until moving to Stites in June 1948.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Frank of Tahoe and Fred, Orofino; five daughters, Mrs. Arthur Wirch, Ashland, Mont., Mrs. Gerald James and Mrs. Warren Naylor, Osborn, Idaho, Mrs. Harvey Renshaw, Coeur d'Alene, and Mrs. Gerald Smith, Clearwater; a stepmother, Mrs. Fanny Sense, Coeur d'Alene, and a half-brother, Frank Sense, also of Coeur d'Alene; two sisters, Mrs. Georgia Garretson, Grangeville, and Mrs. Delsie Starwalt, Clearwater. Sixteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild also survive.
