DEATH OF OLD TIMER

William Boufford, for many years a citizen of the Salmon River section but who has been making his home in Grangeville for some time past, was found dead in the yard to the rear of his residence Saturday morning by the Richards boy who made his accustomed call to deliver milk.  The deceased is of French Canadian birth and little is known of his relatives excepting a sister who resides near Montreal and has been notified of his death.  He left considerable property and in his will provides for the setting aside of the sum of $400 to be used in local charity work.  The funeral was held Tuesday and the remains laid to rest in the local cemetery.
