Rites Pending For Eva A. Cash, 73

Rites for Mrs. Eva Allene Cash, 73, who died Wednesday at her home are pending at Robertson-Hansen Funeral Chapel. Mrs. Cash spent 62 years of her life in this area.
She was born at Mt. Vernon, Indiana, September 14, 1888. She moved to Idaho County when she was 11 years old. On June 10, 1903, she was married to John A. Cash in Grangeville. Since his death 17 years ago, Mrs. Cash has continued to make her home south of town. She belonged to the Baptist Church.
Survivors include ten children, five sons, Keith Cash and Vance Cash, both of Grangeville; Joseph Cash, Winchester; David Cash, Pullman; and Gordon Cash, Craigmont; five daughters, Mrs. Lee (Viola) Brown, Portland; Mrs. Paul (Nellie) Warden; Mrs. Andy (Evelyn) Riener, both of Grangeville; Mrs. Angus (Bulah) McArthur, Torrence, Calif., and Mrs. Henry (Beth) Vanderwall, Quincy, Wash. Two other sons died, Jimmy at the age of 20 and Vernon in infancy. Other survivors include two half brothers, Elmer Cash of White Bird and Forest Howell of Seattle; a sister Mrs. Percy Lefler of Kamiah and 60 great-grandchildren.

Note: Services were held 17 March 1962 with the Rev. Jefferies officiating at the Hansen Chapel. Pallbearers were Bryan Hutchens, Bud Edwards, Justin Warden, John Vanderwall, Bud Eugene Warden and Buck Paul. Burial was in Mount Idaho Cemetery.
