DEATH OF TOM CLARK

Tom Clark, a pioneer of the Florence basin, a participant in the eventful incidents which characterized the history of that camp and one of its few faithful old stand-bys, died Wednesday while on the Melnor trail on his way to Grangeville.  

Thus one by one the pioneers who first inhabited these mountain fastnesses and who have left the imprint of their character pass silently tot he other side of that mysterious divide.
