Carrie Baker Teats Cuthbert, 86
Carrie Baker Teats Cuthbert, 86, died. She was born Nov. 29,
1919, in Lewiston, at Lindsey Creek where her parents, Claus and Lillian Baker
had a dairy. She was the second oldest of nine children: Frans, Carrie, Vina,
Erma, Anita, Valma, Truella, Marilyn and Robbie.
She quit school at age 13 to help her dad milk cows on the
dairy. She would hike back and forth several miles daily between Lindsey Creek
and the Mill road Ranch that her father leased.
