YAKIMA SQUAW 101 YEARS OLD DIES AT KAMIAH

Mrs. Lizzie Fairfield, 101 year old Yakima Indian, died last Friday at Kamiah.  She had resided on the Nezperce Indian reservation for over forty years.  She was the widow of William Fairfield, a white man, and is survived by a son, Charles Fairfield, at Lapwai.  Elaborate funeral services, due to the age of the squaw, were held, with burial in the Indian cemetery at Kamiah.
