V.E. FICK SUCCUMBS
Villas Edward Fick, 61, died January 16 at Harrison, Idaho. He is survived by the widow, Henrietta Fick, at home; two sons, Edwin Fick of Canfield, Idaho, and Jack Fick of Yakima and a daughters, Enid Fick of Vancouver, Wash.
V.E. Fick moved to Canfield Idaho and took up a homestead in 1901. He was a member of the firm of Fick and Sale, merchants at Harrison. For many years he was a member of the city council and at the time of his death was a member of the school board.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, January 18, at 1:30 p.m. at the Baptist Church, the Rev. M.C. Skaug, officiating. Interment was in Harrison Cemetery.
