MRS. CHARLES H. GOAN SUMMONED BY DEATH

Mabel Lee Allen Goan, wife of Charles H. Goan, died in the family home in Grangeville Saturday morning at 7:00 a.m. Mrs. Goan was born February 24, 1886, at Soldier, Idaho. She came to Grangeville with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. James B. Allen in 1892 and had since made her home here. She was married to Charles H. Goan on January 1, 1905. To Mr. and Mrs. Goan were born five children; Gladys, Esther, Zelma, Herman and Marjorie, all of whom, with the husband, survive her. She is also survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. James B. Allen of Grangeville; five sisters; Mrs. A.E. Purvis, Bay City. Oregon; Mrs. Mattie Winters, Stevensville, Montana; Mrs. Louis Webber and Mrs. Albert Webber, Grangeville, and Mrs. Chris Luehrs, Grangeville, and one brother, George Allen, Yakima, Wa.
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. from the Baptist Church, W.N. Knox, Minister, officiating. Burial was in Prairie View Cemetery.
