Viola Goodwin Services Today

Viola Goodwin, 87, of Kamiah, died of infirmities of age May 8 at the Orofino Convalescent Center where she had been a patient for the past 18 months.

Mrs. Goodwin was born to Isaac and Ella Villers, September 18, 1895.  She married Wilson Goodwin at Tama, Iowa, September 22, 1909.

In 1929 they moved to Heyward, Wisconsin, where they made their home until 1952.  They moved to Gooding and then to Salt Lake City, Utah, where they lived before moving to the Kamiah area in 1974.

Survivors include two sons, V.W. and I.N. Goodwin, both of Kamiah; two daughters, Doris Hanson of Manti, Utah, and Zula Belakey of Heyward, Wis.; 20 grandchildren and 40 great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held today at 2:30 p.m. at the Kamiah Cemetery with the Bishop Dale Rupp of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints officiating.

Hansen-Noland funeral home at Kamiah is in charge of arrangements.
