SERVICES HELD FOR MOUNT IDAHO MAN

Ira Taylor Hindman, 74, died at his home in Mount Idaho, Sunday.
Mr. Hindman was born in Jackson county, Iowa, October 4, 1879, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Mason E. Hindman. He came west with his parents when but a small boy. They settled in Oregon and moved to Idaho in 1900, homesteading south west of Grangeville.
On July 13, 1903, he was married to Mary Jane Earp. To this union three children were born. Mrs. Hindman died in 1949.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Thelma Schmadeka, Grangeville; four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Rites were held Tuesday at the Robertson-Hansen Funeral Chapel, Rev. R.J. Kennedy officiating. Interment was at Mount Idaho Cemetery. Pallbearers were Alfred Moore, Dale Blankenship, Richard Blankenship, Neuton Pollan, Herbert Altman, and Ursel Heitter.
