Maggie Holbrook Dies Wed

Maggie Louise Holbrook 91, died April 22, at a Grangeville nursing home where she had been a resident since 1950.  She was 91.

She was born August 13, 1884 at Denver and moved with her parents to White Bird as an infant.  She married Jacob Ephrum Holbrook in 1917 at Grangeville.  He died in 1943.

She and her husband previously had ranched for many years in the Riggins and White Bird areas.

Survivors include three daughter, Mabel Rice and Pearl Carrey, both of Riggins, and Mary Steensman of Spokane; a son Lester Holbrook of Snohomish, Wash; six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were held Monday at the Prairie View Cemetery with the Rev. Billy Wycoff of the Full Gospel Tabernacle officiating.  The Walker Funeral Home in McCall was in charge of arrangements.
