FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 7, 1890

DIED - Mr. F.A. Horning, father of Frank Horning of this county, died at Corvallis, Oregon after an illness of only 4 days of inflammation of the bladder.  Mr.. Horning crossed the plains in 1849 from Missouri and located at Corvallis, where he has resided continuously, with the exception of 3 years spent in Warrens and Florence butchering and mining in 1862,63 & 64.
