News was received here that James M. Hunt, proprietor of the "St.George Hotel at Pomeroy, Wash., had died in the hospital at San Francisco on Sunday morning.  Mr.. H. was well and favorably known in this section, he being one of the parties who erected the first suspension bridge across Salmon River on the trail to Warrens, and highly respected by all who knew him.
