  B.L. Hussman, 81, passed away Saturday night at the home of his son, W.B. Hussman, in Cottonwood after being ill several weeks, and funeral services were held at the Catholic church in Cottonwood, the Rev. Fr. VerHoeven officiating and interment was in the Catholic cemetery.

Mr. Hussman taught school in his younger day and was active in the social and civic life of the community.

Surviving are five sons, W.B., state representative, and Herman, both of Cottonwood; Henry, Potlatch; Clem, Kalispell, Mont; and Ben of Mason City, Wash; six daughters, Mrs. Martha Lightfield, Cottonwood; Mrs. Minnie Bushue, Mason City; Mrs. Margaret Burgund and Mrs. Leasal Hartman, Spokane; Mrs. Emma Haven, Kendrick and Mrs. Mary Nuxoll, Joseph, Oregon and 52 grandchildren.
