U.G. Kincaid Passes

Funeral services for U.G. Kinkaid, 74, resident of Idaho County and Elk city country for 50 years, were held yesterday at Elk City, Rev. Sydney Walker, officiating.  The body will be brought out to Grangeville today and a funeral service will be held at the Ailor mortuary with Rev. Walker, and burial will be in Fairview cemetery.  For the lack of information the obituary will not appear until next week.

U.G. Kinkaid Passes

U.G. Kincaid, 74, a native of Missouri was laid to rest in the Fairview cemetery last Friday following services at Ailor mortuary.  Rev. S.A. Walker, officiated.  Mr. Kinkaid passed away the Monday prior at this home in Elk City, death being due to a stroke.

Mr. Kinkaid came to Spokane when but a young man, and learning there of the possibilities of the central Idaho region, moved to Idaho county and then to Elk where he resided for almost 50 years.

surviving are his widow, (at Elk City); four sisters; Mrs. R.H. Farris, Clearwater; Mrs. Anna Perkins and Mrs. Ora M. Reed of Clarkston; and Mrs. C.S. Jacobsen of Spokane; and three brothers; D.T. Kinkaid of Clarkston; M.S. Kinkai, Kennewick, Wa; and W.H. Kinkaid of Vaugh, Wa., and several nieces and nephews.
