DIED - Judge Logan Dead

Judge John L. Logan died in Lewiston on the 15th of this month.  Judge Logan was a native of Virginia, being born in Salem that state on March 4, 1848.  He was appointed as judge of the First Judicial District of Idaho by President Cleveland to succeed Judge Buck.  He fulfilled the duties of his office in a manner highly satisfactory to all who had any business before the courts in the district until the last fall when his failing health incapacitated him for working.

In the death of Judge Logan, Idaho loses one of the ablest judges that have ever wore the ermine within her borders.
