Henry Lucas, 69

Henry Lucas, 69, of Grangeville died Wednesday, June 14, 1995, at Syringa General Hospital of a heart attack.  Mr. Lucas was born April 23, 1926, at Galatin Co., Mont., a son of Jake and Hattie Ungersma Lucas.

He married Tina Scholten May 17, 1951, at Manhattan, Mont., where he was a dairyman.  They moved to Grangeville in 1953.  Henry retired in 1993.  He worked on farms and at the local say mill.  Mrs. Lucas passed away July 14, 1969. 

He married Myrtle Cannon June 16, 1971, at Payette, Idaho.  They have made Grangeville their home since.  He was a member of the Grangeville Church of the Nazarene and a former member of the Christian Reformed Church.

He enjoyed woodworking, camping, fishing, hunting, being in the outdoors and spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived b y his wife of the family home, one son, Gerald Lucas, of Grangeville; one daughter Marsha Lance of Grangeville; two stepsons, Nickie Cannon and Morley Cannon, both of Grangeville; one stepdaughter, Arvella Cook of Ontario, Ore.; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; one brother, Harold Lucas.
