Lifelong Invalid Taken By Reaper

  Iva Pearl Mason; 63, passed away in Nampa , Idaho , early Monday morning.  An invalid her entire life, due to a spinal injury she received when she was six months old, she recently developed an acute illness and her passing came soon.

  She was born October 17, 1885 in Weston , Nebraska and came to Idaho County with her parents in 1888, locating near Harpster.  She was a devout Christian all of her life.

  Surviving relatives include two brothers, Frank Cosand of California ; Joe Cosand, Oak Bar , Kansas ; six sisters, Mrs. Mollie Owens, Actworth Iowa ; Mrs. Ella Thornburg, Poplar, Montana; Mrs. Maggie Watson, Tekoa, Washington; Mrs. Myra Mangold, Moscow, Idaho; Mrs. Pruda McLean Grangeville and Mrs. Elizabeth Ruark, Kooskia and a number of nieces and nephews.

  Funeral services were held Wednesday morning at 10:30 o’clock at the Robertson Funeral Chapel, the Rev James N. Updike officiating.  Hymns were sung by Mrs. EstherPearson, who also played the organ.  Pallbearers were all nephew of deceased – Darrell, Harry, Walter, A.G. and Rex A. Farris and Kenneth John.  Burial was in Prairie View Cemetary.
