Buried Mrs. Oscar Maxwell


Mrs. Rachel Naomi Maxwell died in Lewiston Tuesday morning and funeral services were held in that city Wednesday [???] Brower Wann chapel. The body was taken to Melrose for burial.
Mrs. Maxwell was born in Kansas and came to Idaho when a girl. They located in the Melrose section and after her marriage in 1899 to Mr. Maxwell, she and her husband moved to Elk City. Here they resided until ten years ago when they moved to Lewiston so their daughter could attend school.
Mrs. Maxwell has moved back and forth from Elk City to Grangeville and Lewiston since that time, and only recently was taken from Golden to Lewiston [???].
Mrs. Maxwell is survived [???] daughter, Miss
Gertrude Maxwell, two brothers and two sisters. Mrs. Charles Ramey of Elk City is a sister.
