DIED AT GRANGEVILLE

Grangeville Press:  J.S. McNair, better known as “Scotty”, a recent arrival from the Boise country, died very suddenly in one of the rooms of the Nickel residence this morning, June 16.

From papers on his clothing it is learned that he was once a warden in the Utah penitentiary and had also served as deputy sheriff of Custer county, this state.
