COMMITTED SUICIDE

Charles Miller of Cottonwood, a farmer residing in the Winona section nine miles northeast of Cottonwood, ended his life early Wednesday evening by shooting himself with a small caliber rifle.  Miller and his wife had been together in the kitchen and Mrs. Miller went to the granary to secure some potatoes and gather the eggs.  While she was in the granary she heard the report of the rifle and upon returning to the house found the body of her husband in an upstairs room with a bullet through his head.  She at once sounded the alarm and a neighbor summoned Coroner Blake from Keuterville.  It is probable an inquest will be held.
