MRS. THERESA PAINTER

  MRS. THERESA PAINTER, died Saturday morning at he Cottonwood hospital of botulinus poisoning, contracted about two weeks ago from eating canned string beans. Funeral services were held at the Hancock Funeral Home Tuesday afternoon, Rev. G.L. Kroenk, officiating, and interment in Prairie View Cemetery.

  Theresa Hauger was born in Grangeville, Idaho, April 12, 1901, and received her education in the Grangeville schools. She was married to Fred L. Painter at Lewiston in 1923, and soon afterwards, moved to Bend, Oregon, where the made their home until the fall of 1934 when they returned to Idaho County. Mr. Painter has been employed as chief electrician the past year at the power plant of the McKinley Mine at Lucile.

  Surviving are her husband and two sons, Miles,12, and Donald, 6; her mother, Helena Hauger of Fenn; a sister, Mrs. Della Basinger; and two brothers, Richard Hauger, Fenn, and Fred Hauger, Junction City, Oregon.
