IDAHO COUNTY FREE PRESS

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 14, 1887

DIED - Potter - near Grangeville, Idaho.  October 7 1887, Mary E. Potter late of Benton Co., Arkansas.  On the Saturday before her death on Friday she was taken very ill with inflammation of the brain and all that medical science, affection and good care could do would not stay the hand of the fell destroyer.  the funeral services were conducted at the grave by Rev. W.A. Hall, assisted by the writer.  The deceased was a native of Arkansas and only arrived in this county quite lately to make a home, when this sad bereavement came and robbed a loving husband of an affectionate wife, and 3 precious children of a loving mother.  So let us put our house in order, "Be ye also ready"  The family have the sympathy of the public and the prayers of the church.

Rev. D.e. George, Pastor
