APRIL 5, 1905

Jack Shiefer fell from a bridge near his ranch on the South Fork about twelve miles from Warren on March 29 and was drowned in the presence of Bill Cadby, Curley Brewer, Sam Spicer and his two sons, George, age 10 and Fred, age 7.  His remains were recovered and buried on the first instant.
