  John Stewart, father of C. B. Stewart of Westlake, died at the home of his son at that place last Saturday from an illness covering several months.  The deceased was 70 years of age at the time of his death.  The funeral was preached by Rev. E. E. Van Wert was said to have been an exceptionally eloquent one.  The funeral was conducted under the direction of the K of P and I.O.O.F. lodges, many members of both orders being present.  About ten members of the local K and P lodge attended the last rites.
