NATIVE RESIDENT EMIL VON BERGE DIES

  EMIL H. VON BERGE, 61, died at 5:30 p.m., Saturday, at General Hospital, after more than a year's illness.

  He was born June 2, 1888, at Grangeville, and had spent his entire life on Camas Prairie where he followed the carpenter trade and cement work. He was a member of Charity Grange #1. Mr. Von Berge never married.

  Survivors include one sister, Elsie Garets of Spokane; one brother, Rudolph Von Berge, Fenn; and a niece Geraldine Slesland, Spokane.

  Last rites were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. from the Ailor Chapel, the Rev. James Updike of the Christian Church, officiating. Mrs. Weston Henry provided the music.

  Pallbearers were Milton Braybrook, Albert Miller, Lester Laningham, Art Bussard, Marion Weber and Dale Fulton. Interment was in Prairie View Cemetery.
