Spokane,
July 21 – A Grangeville dispatch says that Michael Sweeny, brother of
Charles Sweeny, the Spokane millionaire, and Andrew Porter (should read
Prader), on trial for
the killing of Joe Mitchell were tonight discharged and completely
exonerated. More than 20
witnesses were examined, the evidence being that the killing was in
self-defense and justified.
