Ten-year-old Lillian McClellen
died in Orogrande in 1910. Supposedly after being hit in the head
with a ball while playing. She was a daughter of Archibald and
Mary McClellen. Her grave can still be found in Upper Orogrande,
part-way up the north slope above an old flume, just down from the old Colgrove
property, which in turn is just below the forks in Upper
Orogrande. The grave is at latitude 45 degrees 41.95' N, longitude
115 degrees 32.78'W. |
