At the residence of the bride's parents, in Tammany Hollow near Lewiston I.T., September 27, 1887 by Rev. Father Diomedi. John H. Gaffney to Miss Maggie McGregor. An so friend Gaffney who used to pretend insensibility to the charms of the fair sex, has at length succumbed. But he is not at all to be blamed or pitied for the young lady is lovely, amiable & accomplished and is endowed with an uncommon share of good sound practical sense that will do much to heighten the felicity of their domestic life. The numerous friends of the young couple in this county extend congratulations, accompanied by the wish that peace, happiness and prosperity may follow them to the end. |
