Idaho County Free Press Thursday, October 5, 1911 Adjudged Insane Mrs. Elsie Benoy, wife of Tom Benoy, a blacksmith of Stites, was up before the probate court the first of the week and her mental conditions examined into. It seems she had been confined in the Orofino institution early this year and was released in July but since then her conditions have become worse. The woman has undoubtedly had a bright mind which has been wrecked through dissipation. Also her home surroundings were not the best and doubtless life has held but little pleasure for her. The case was a sad one and should cause the most heartless to experience a deep pity for Mrs. Benoy. She was committed Orofino where the surroundings no doubt will assist in the treatment given and restore her mind. |
