IDAHO COUNTY FREE PRESS JANUARY 18, 1906 Another Pioneer Gone August Berg, an old and respected pioneer of this county, died January 15th at white Bird from blood poisoning caused by a slight cut on his hand. He was past 72 years old and leaves two children and four step-children. August Berg came here in the mining excitement of 1861-2 and has ever since remained a dweller in this county. He did not long engage in mining but located a cattle ranch on Salmon River. |
