James Lee Gortsema, 59
   James Lee (Jimmy) Gortsema, 59, died on Dec. 3, 2005, of an apparent heart attack, outside of Grangeville.
   He was born Nov. 22, 1946, in Grangeville to John Gortsema and Shirley Hayhurst Gortsema. He attended schools in Grangeville and entered the Army in 1966. He was honorably discharged in 1970.
   While serving in the Army he married Dolly Smith. They later divorced in 1971.
   He later married Carol Swedblom. Together they had a son, Jason Lee Gortsema, in 1977. They later divorced.
