IDAHO COUNTY FREE
PRESS THURSDAY, JULY 5,
1934 Bert Hawes, 60, an itinerant prospector, was picked up on the highway at the Reminton place on Salmon River last week and brought to the county hospital in an unconscious condition. Dr. Chipman, county physician, diagnosed the case as cerebral hemorrhage, and the elderly man died a few hours later, the funeral being held Sunday. The man was apparently stricken as he was walking along the highway. |
