IDAHO COUNTY FREE PRESS FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 25, 1887 SUDDEN DEATH - Young T.C. Michael, aged 6 years died at Mt. Idaho Sunday night from spinal congestion, caused by a fall from a wood pile while playing ball last Friday. The youngster was taken sick Friday night but his parents thought he was suffering from a sore throat and did not call in medical advise until he was convulsed with vomiting and when Dr. Nickel arrived the boy was dead. It was not known that he had sustained a fall until it was too late.
ANOTHER NOTICE WAS ALSO IN THE PAPER. They have his name different. I am guessing that the first notice has it wrong. DIED - Michael - at Mt. Idaho, I.T. November 20, 1887. Linney M. Son of T.C. & Nancy Michael age 5 years & 9 months. Linney was born at Gap Creek, Ash County, N.C. His parents came here about 2 years ago. In august 1886, they buried a baby boy, 9 months old, F.B. Michael. how surely sorrows never come alone. The burial service was read at the cemetery by Rev. D.E. George and the funeral sermon will be preached at a future date to be announced in the paper. ANOTHER NOTICE ON DECEMBER 2, 1887. HIS AGE IS DIFFERENT IN THIS ONE DIED - Michael - at Mt. Idaho November 23, 1887 a son of T.C. and Nancy Michael aged 9 years
