Roy S. "Sam" Murray, 92

Roy S. "Sam" Murray, 92, of Kooskia died Oct. 16, 2005, at the Grangeville Health and Rehabilitation Center.
He was born Dec. 22, 1912, at Chambersburg, Penn., a son of Samuel and Jean Heard Murray. He attended school through the 10th grade and then worked as a salesman for National Radio Shop. In 1930 he started a career in the tool and die business and worked for several companies including the U.S. Government and Singer. He married Bonnie Weber on Feb. 14, 1944. They were married for more than 60 years. They moved to Idaho in 1996 and she died last year.
He enjoyed guns, pistols and his black lab dogs.
