FRIDAY, JANUARY 27,1888

DIED - On Wednesday night, January 18, 1888 Hull Rice's little twin baby, Lena, passed away from earth.  She had apparently recovered from the scarlet fever, but took a relapse and died of dropsy.  Mr. Rice's friends sympathize with him all the more because of other bereavements so lately passed.  Lena was a little past 3 years old - an age at which the little ones are the most endearing to the parents.
