FROM IDAHO COUNTY FREE PRESS, NOV. 25, 1898 (This is not an obituary, just a notice of him being destitute)

J.S. Sullivan, formerly of Denver and lately of Florence was taken to the poor farm last week.  He has been sick from some time and is now destitute.

 

OBITUARY FROM IDAHO COUNTY FREE PRESS, MAR. 6, 1902

We are informed that Judge J.S. Sullivan, who was formerly a Denver pioneer, died last week at the poor farm and was buried in Grangeville.  He was the first Justice of the Peace and a well known character here.
