DEATH TAKES PIONEER MAN

  RUDOLPH F. VON BERGE, 84, retired farmer, died April 6, in his home.

  He was born August 2, 1889, at Grangeville to Mr. and Mrs. William Von Berge. He attended Grangeville schools and spent his life on Camas Prairie. He operated a ranch south west of Fenn, retiring 20 years ago, when he moved to Grangeville.

  Mr. Von Berge was member of the Grange. He had never married.

  Survivors include a niece, Geraldine Flesland, Spokane; a great niece, and a great-great niece.

  The funeral was April 9, in the Hansen-Noland Chapel. The Rev. Earl Hering, Grangeville Trinity Lutheran Church pastor, officiated. Burial was in Prairie View Cemetery.
