  Young to Stand Trial

Sheriff Green, Attorney Bartlet and Coroner Irvin held an inquest over the body of Fred Morris in Warren who was killed last week by Jack Young.  There was no justice of the peace at Warren and the prisoner was brought to Florence and given a hearing before Justice Moon.

Young was charged with murder in the second degree and held under $1,500 bond.  It is only a few weeks until court convenes and the prisoner was taken to Grangeville, to await trial.  Ruby Walker, the woman over whom the trouble arose, was also brought out and is being held as a witness.  She is from Boise where it is said she left a husband and a child.
