STEWARD posted by Donald Steward on Saturday, September 27, 1997

STEWARD. I am looking for the maiden name of my Dad's first wife. Not my mother. I hoping that if I can find their marriage license I can get her age and name. She died shortly after their marriage and no one in my family knows of her. Here is what I have. My Dad (the groom) - John Albert STEWARD, b. Sept. 1, 1906, Culdesac, Idaho. His wife (the bride) - I am told her first name was BETTY, I presume that could be ELIZABETH, last, or maiden name and age unknown. Betty is the subject of this search. I am guessing they were married in 1925 or 1926 since it would mean my dad was about 19 or 20 and they had a son, Jack Albert STEWARD, born July 14, 1927, (my deceased half brother). Again, I am guessing they were married somewhere around Lewiston, Culdesac or Grangville. That could be Nez Perce, or for Grangeville, Idaho County. Anything you can find will be greatly appreciated. Many thanks.

LAVERTY posted by Jim Granger on Sunday, September 28, 1997

Looking for Laverty's! Descendant names, farm and mining claim location of Daniel Laverty and wife Mabel ? They had a dau. Ellen Bernice b. Feb 1919. The 1920 cencus listed the family as living in Woodland Township near Orofino. They later had a son, probably born before 1925. Daniel's brothers were listed in the 1910 census as Patrick, Daniel, James and Hugh Laverty. Only Patrick shows up in the 1920 census (by then, a patient at the North State Hosp, Orofino ID) Where did the other brothers go? What was the name of Daniel's son? If you know of this family during the 1910-40 era
